RISC V will change the world
In the market of cpus, the two most popular architectures today are controlled by two companies. Intel and Arm. Intel owns the x86 architecture which powers desktop processors around the world while Arm owns the Arm architecture which powers mobile devices and more. Imagine you wanted to make your own processor. Previously, you would have to pay fees to a company like Intel or Arm if you wanted to license their designs and use them. But one architecture was made to change this.
What is RISC V
RISC V stands for Reduced Instruction Set 5 which is a free and open architecture. Anyone is allowed to make a processor with it and there is no license fees.
